Every Bonterra product name, and what it used to be called

If you are trying to work out what you are actually buying from Bonterra, or what the system you already own is called now, here is the whole map. Four acquisitions, three renames, one sunset, and two things almost every roundup gets wrong.
The table
| You knew it as | What it is called in 2026 | Status |
|---|---|---|
| EveryAction | Bonterra Fundraising and Engagement | Active, renamed |
| Network for Good (the software) | Bonterra Guided Fundraising | Active, renamed |
| Salsa CRM / Salsa Engage | — | Sunset, migration deadline 31 Dec 2024 |
| CyberGrants | Bonterra corporate social responsibility | Active |
| Jumpstart | Bonterra Jumpstart | Active |
| Network for Good (the donor-advised fund) | For Good | Never acquired — separate company, renamed May 2025 |
The two corrections
Network for Good was two things. There was a software product and there was a donor-advised fund, sharing a name. The software became Bonterra Guided Fundraising. The donor-advised fund was excluded from the deal, remained independent, and renamed itself For Good in May 2025.
So when someone says “we use Network for Good,” ask which one. If they mean the fundraising software, they are a Bonterra customer. If they mean the DAF that processes their online donations, they are not, and never were.
Charity Navigator’s Giving Basket is not Bonterra. It is powered by Give Lively, through the Give Lively Foundation. This one appears in enough roundups that it has become received wisdom, and it is wrong.
Why the names are still a mess
Because the sources disagree with each other right now, including the vendor’s own.
Bonterra’s product pages use the new names. But everyaction.com still resolves, Capterra’s URL slugs still carry EveryAction- and Network-for-Good-era paths, and Capterra’s display names sit somewhere in between. A buyer comparing “EveryAction vs Bonterra” is comparing a product to itself and has no way to know.
That is not an accident of laziness — it is what happens when a company acquires four products and renames them faster than the ecosystem’s URLs and review databases can follow.
What this means if you are buying
Ask which product, by its current name, and get the roadmap in writing. Bonterra’s strategy is consolidation, and consolidation retires products. Salsa customers found that out on a three-year timeline: acquired, then given a migration deadline.
That is not a reason to rule Bonterra out. Fundraising and Engagement is a strong system for advocacy-heavy organizations, and Guided Fundraising bundles a human fundraising coach with the software, which nobody else does. It is a reason to ask what the plan is for the specific product you are signing for, and to know in advance how you would export your data.
Two pricing mechanics worth knowing before you negotiate, both documented rather than rumoured. Pricing improves with renewal length, which means a one-year term is priced as a penalty. And Guided Fundraising prices on contact count with a break that arrives early — a reviewer in December 2025 described the increase at 501 contacts as too low a threshold. Price your own list against that before the call.
Nothing else is published. Figures circulating elsewhere — “$109 per feature monthly,” “$3,588 a year over a 15-month contract” — trace back to no primary source, so we are not repeating them. Our Bonterra write-up has the detail, and what nonprofit software actually costs has every price we hold across the sector.
What this means if you are a Salsa refugee
You were migrated in 2024, probably to EveryAction or Network for Good, and both of those have since been renamed around you. If the destination never fit, you have now had two years of it, which is long enough to judge.
The honest alternatives at most sizes are cheaper and independent: DonorDock at flat tiers with unlimited contacts, Eleo from $39 a month with its whole ladder published, or Bloomerang if adoption across a team is the real problem. Our switching guides cover what each migration actually costs — the fields that break are always the same ones.
Common questions
Is EveryAction still called EveryAction?
No. It is now Bonterra Fundraising and Engagement. The everyaction.com product page still resolves and Capterra still uses an EveryAction-era URL slug, which is why the old name persists everywhere.
What happened to Network for Good?
The software is now Bonterra Guided Fundraising. The donor-advised fund of the same name was a separate entity, was excluded from the acquisition, and renamed itself For Good in May 2025. Two different organizations, one old name.
Is Salsa Labs still available?
No. Salsa CRM and Salsa Engage were sunset, with a customer migration deadline of December 31, 2024. Customers were moved to EveryAction or Network for Good — now Bonterra Fundraising and Engagement or Bonterra Guided Fundraising.
Is Charity Navigator's Giving Basket a Bonterra product?
No. The Giving Basket is powered by Give Lively, through the Give Lively Foundation. It is frequently listed as a Bonterra product and is not one.
